A Dependent Pass, often abbreviated as DP, is an immigration status that allows eligible family members of a primary work-visa holder to live and, in some jurisdictions, study or work in the host country for the duration of the main visa. In practice, DP most commonly refers to the Dependant’s Pass issued in countries such as Singapore to the legally married spouse and unmarried children of Employment Pass, S Pass, or equivalent work-permit holders.
