Design, production, and delivery of tangible products for children growing up in an international context is where it all started for Expat Valley. Since the launch of the First Aid Kid and its original content in 2021, we have made hundreds of children around the globe feel better prepared, more supported, and happier with their international relocation! Global Children’s Products can be gifted to children at significant moments in their international journey (e.g. pre-departure or upon repatriation) or at significant moments in their lives (e.g. as a Holiday Gift, or when celebrating a birthday).

Relocation Adventure Postcards

Staying in touch with friends and family back home (or in previous host locations) is important for international children’s identity development and social wellbeing.

The Relocation Adventure Postcards were designed to enable children to manage these important relationships in a fun and beautiful way!

This product is suitable for children of all ages. It comes as a set of 10 sturdy 10x15cm (4x6in) postcards in an envelope.

International Friends Book

Research shows that properly saying goodbye is one of the most important factors in being able to establish new relationships in a foreign country.

The International Friends Book allows children to collect memories and contact information from their friends all over the world.

This product is suitable for children of all ages. It is a hardcover book with 30 friends profile pages.

Global Family Card Game

Every family member has their own experience and emotions while going through the different stages of international relocation.

Global Family Card Game was designed to empower the family unit in communication and to facilitate sharing their worries, excitement, what will help them settle in, etc.

This product is suitable for children of all ages. The Global Family Card Game holds 9 sets of four cards each, the game play is similar to ‘Go Fish’ or ‘Quartet’ (instructions are printed on the back of the box).

First Aid Kid box

The First Aid Kid box is the ultimate vehicle for presenting Children’s Products to children. It’s eye-catching design highlights the importance of children’s needs and wellbeing – and of their belongings!

Children experience various emotions during the different stages of international relocation. To process emotions effectively, it is important to know how to name them and express them.

The Emotionals Skin Stickers allow children to do just that! How are you feeling today?

This product is suitable for children of all ages. Two sheets of skin stickers, 24 stickers in total. The stickers come off by using warm water and hand soap.

My Little Journey

Young children discover all stages of moving abroad with the mini-books of My Little Journey. The books cover both practical as emotional aspects of relocation. They can be used as conversation starters, to help young children prepare for what is coming, and are great toys too!

This product is suitable for children 0-6 years old. 5 mini-books in a big book cover. Each mini book measures 4.5cm (1.8in) x 4.5cm x 3.5cm (1.2in): perfect for little hands! The mini-books are made from sturdy material, so it can withstand an accidental bite.

My Bigger Picture

Who doesn’t love coloring? Putting My Bigger Picture on a wall or on the floor, and coloring together is the perfect conversation opportunity with children.

My Bigger Picture follows children’s journey from first learning about the upcoming move, all the way until repatriation, and covers snapshots of all stages of international relocation in between.

This product is suitable for children 4-12 years old. The poster measures 90cm (35in) x 150cm (60in).

My Global Journal

Most teenagers don’t like to be told what to do, so we designed a solution for them that allows them to decide what they want.

My Global Journal comes with a set of age-appropriate journaling prompts, and other suggestions (not instructions) that support teenagers with making the most of their international experiences.

This product is suitable for children 7+ years old, and was designed specifically for teenagers. Soft cover, A5-size, 100 pages. Comes in two colors. Has a ribbon page marker and elastic band to keep it closed.
