Expertise for Experts & Educators: The World’s Happiest Ecosystem
Whether you are an (international) educator, a healthcare provider, a therapist, a culture or language trainer, a family coach, or a local specialist supporting global families, you know that this field is as rewarding as it is complex. Yet, too often, the experts supporting global children and families work alone or in silos. There is a critical lack of peer support across disciplines, and research-backed best practices are rarely exchanged between the classroom, the practice, and the home.
Expat Valley exists to bridge these gaps. We believe that to support a global family effectively, we must first support the experts who care for them.
Join the World’s Happiest Ecosystem
We are launching a community of co-creation specifically for professionals dedicated to global children and families. This is a space to move beyond individual practice and contribute to a multidisciplinary body of knowledge.
A Monthly Cycle of Co-Creation
Every month, our ecosystem focuses on a specific theme: ranging from neurodiversity in transition to maintaining cultural identity. We explore these themes through two distinct sessions:
-
The Co-Creation Workshop: A peer-to-peer working session where we exchange research, discuss challenging case studies, and share the strategies and tools that are working in our respective fields.
-
The Insights Webinar: A public-facing session where we share the findings from our workshop, helping to elevate the standard of care for global families everywhere.
Collaborative work from these sessions often leads to the development of new resources and specialized content, ensuring that our joint expertise reaches the families who need it most.
Celebrating the Diversity of Support
We believe that visibility matters. Every month, we feature a Professional Spotlight article on our platform to celebrate an Expert or Educator in our community. These features highlight the incredible diversity of support available to global families, from specialized language therapists to innovative international school leaders, and help families connect with the right care at the right time.
