Global Family Needs & Wellbeing Assessment
See how your family is doing, wherever life takes you.
Relocating as a family changes more than your address. It reshapes your routines, relationships, and sense of stability. The Global Family Needs & Wellbeing Assessment helps you understand how your family is navigating those changes, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.
A reflection tool for global families
Every global family carries both strengths and stresses. This assessment offers a chance to pause and see the full picture of your family life, what’s steady, what’s thriving, and what might need more care.
Grounded in Expat Valley’s Global Family Tree and Global Family Compass frameworks, it helps you identify key areas influencing your family’s wellbeing during international life and transitions.
You can complete the assessment as parents, and there’s also a Teen version designed to capture your young person’s perspective.
Why it matters
Global life can be deeply enriching, but it can also stretch families in unexpected ways. With so many transitions, new schools, changing friendships, shifting identities, it’s easy to lose sight of how each person is doing.
The Global Family Needs & Wellbeing Assessment helps you reconnect with what matters most. It’s not a test; it’s a conversation starter. By reflecting together, you’ll gain insight into how your family is adapting, what’s working well, and where extra attention could make a difference.
Because global life is always evolving, the assessment is designed to be taken annually as a check-in, helping your family notice patterns of growth, change, and wellbeing over time.
What you’ll receive
After completing the assessment, you’ll receive a personalized Family Report highlighting:
- Areas of strength and steadiness to celebrate
- Areas of vulnerability that may need attention
- Points of alignment and divergence between family members
You’ll also receive brief insights linked to the Global Family Compass, helping you identify the mindset and strategies that can support your next step forward.
Families can also choose to schedule a short follow-up call to discuss their results and explore helpful resources.
How it works
- Purchase your assessment. You’ll receive a link to a secure Google Form.
